Sri Lanka provides a unique backdrop for all surfing and nature lovers: Wild elephants grazing on the vast steppes between rice paddies, paradise birds, wonderful people and a lot of surfing. The Bungalows of the "Rainbow Village" are located directly on the beach. Peace can always be found amoung the coconut trees, because with warm air temperatures it recovers better in the shady areas. The Indian Ocean brings it to 32°C. Each of our beach property has a shower, a double bed and fans. The double bungalow can accommodate up to 4 people. The cottages are maintained daily with love. WiFi is available in the restaurant, but its very slow.
Main Building
The main building has 4 rooms on the first floor and 4 rooms on the ground floor. Rooms with connecting doors can be booked on request. The rooms feature a minibar, mosquito nets, a fan and a private bathroom. The first floor rooms have showers with hot water.
Beach Cabanas
Each cabana has a private terrace with sea view, mosquito nets, a fan and a bathroom. In addition to the normal Cabanas, there are also family cabana. This has two bedrooms with a total of 4 beds.
Apartment Villa
The villa has two floors, which can be booked individually or together. On each floor there are two separate bedrooms with separable double beds, a bathroom with hot water, hair dryer, mosquito nets, a fan, a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge / dining room. On request an extra bed can also be placed into the bedroom, so each floor have a maximum of 6 people.

The Point
This is the main break at Arugam Bay. The point is a long right-hand point/reef break that breaks at the headland in front of Arugam Bay. It is also the best swell magnet of all the points and you can almost always guarantee that the The Point will be a couple of feet bigger than any of the other breaks. It breaks from anything between 2 and 6 feet but tends to max out after 6 foot. Due to its location it is also attracts the biggest crowd but seems to be handle it as it often sections in a few spots. On a good day it provides a clean rideble wall that will barrel in the sections and give you a 400-meter ride right through to the inside. When you ride all the way through the best option is to paddle a few yards to the beach and walk back out to the entry point (booties are advisable as the reef starts from ankle depth). There is also café run by some of the locals that provides a grant vantage point to watch the action from and take in stock up on energy for the next session.

2. Surf course-package:
The Surf Course Package includes 5 days of surf lessons with instruction, 2 hours per day. The surf sessions take place in the Bay and / or at various surf spots around Arugam Bay. The Surf Equipment / surfboard is included in the package for 7 days a week. The maximum group size is 6 people. Included in the package: 5x2h surfcourse incl surfboard rental for 7 days..

3. Surfguiding:
Surfguidings can be booked for 1-3 days. In the morning of the first day we start in the Bay and in the afternoon or the following days in various surf spots around Arugam Bay. The maximum group size is 6 people.
However Surfguidings will be booked individually on the spot and paid locally. Note; depending on the season, this is not necessary when the Main-Spot Arugam Bay runs anyway.
