In our Kitesurf & Nature Resort you will live right on one of the windiest spots in Sri Lanka. Your bungalow is right on the water at the lagoon. From the veranda you have a good views of the kite spot and the wonderful nature. Waterfowls and eagles inhabit the coastline.
Our kitesurf center is right on the beach and on the edge of the famous Kappa Lady shallow water lagoon. A few kilometeres offshore you can observe Whales and Dolphins. Our certified yoga and Ayurveda teacher offers you traditional Ayurvedic treatments in the middle of beautiful nature. Newly we represent the Indiana SUP brand and we provide professional SUP tours through the untouched mangroves of Kappa Lady.
We respect the nature and grow our own vegetables and fruits, we buy our fresh fish directly from the fisherman, we gain our warm water and electricity from solar energy. All bungalows are made from 100% natural materials. Through a clever ventilation and insulation concept we do not need any air conditioning.
The Kitesurf & Nature Resort is located directly on the ocean on the Kappa Lady lagoon. The small complex, which also includes a restaurant and kitecenter, has 5 guest bungalows and is surrounded by coconut trees. The Indian Ocean is right outside the front door. In the restaurant you enjoy Sri Lankan and international cuisine with views of the water. In the restaurant and the lounge is WiFi available free of charge. You can relax In the large pool after the kite sessions.
All rooms feature a private veranda with lounge, a large bathroom, outdoor shower, fan as well as a mini-bar and safe. In the bungalows there is no air conditioning and no TV.
The Kitesurf & Nature Resort follows the "eco-lodge" principle and generates electricity and hot water from solar energy.
From May to September, a constant wind is blowing from the southwest. The best wind conditions, we guarantee in June. The wind is weaker during the winter month. In the immediate area are two kite lagoons: the smaller Kappa Lady lagoon is directly at the resort, the large-Kalpitiya lagoon is about 20 minutes away by car. Both lagoons which border the open sea, offer super shallow-water areas.
During the summer months the sea is choppy and brownish. During the winter months it is found more quiete and turns dark blue. During this time, there are almost no waves. There are many oppertunities for Kitesafaris and downwind. For example, the "Dream Spot" at Dutchbay: here separates a narrow sandbank the sea from the Puttalam Lagoon.
1. Beginner-package
9 hours private lessons or 12 hours in the group of two. During this course you will learn to kitesurf and the rules in the water, mastering the body-dragging and water start. The goal is to introduce you to the kite so that you can ride alone and safe. The kites are transported, unpacked, pumped and stored again at the end from the camp operators. Kite equipment included.

3 hours private lessons exclusively Equipment. You've already made a kite course, but that's some time ago? Together with an instructor you go back on the water so you can quickly start again where you are stopped years ago. The Kite-Equipment can be hired locally. The Kite-Storage is included.

6 hours private lessons or 8 hours in the group of two. Ideal for riders who have already made some experience and want to improve their kite skills. You learn to surf in both directions and upwind drive and make the first turns and jumps. The kites are transported, unpacked, pumped and stored again at the end from the camp operators.
