The dreamy village Tibau do Sul is located in the north-easternmost federal state named Rio Grande do Sul, which means "big river of the north". The scenery in this area is dominated by sandy beaches and impressive sand dunes, as well as the typical coconut trees lagoons.
The quaint fishing village is only about 10km from Pipa, a lively village with shops, supermarkets, internet cafés, restaurants and bars. The bustling town hosts many parties and concerts, and it's known for its laid-back social atmosphere.
During the day, local busses will take you along the Atlantic coast to Pipa for a couple of Reais (local currency). Along the road are some of Brazil's north-east coast top surf spots, and Pipa is home to the famous Praia do Amor.
You will be staying at the camp in a 5000 sqm tropical garden, which is located on top of a hill above the lagoon of Tibau do Sul. The beach is at about 1-2 minutes walking distance. In the main area of the camp, there's a pool deck and a restaurant with fresh buffet meals every day.
The camp offers three different accommodation possibilities: The social ones will love our dorms with a large terrace and hamocks to end a day at the beach. For a more private atmosphere, you can choose one of the 10 bungalows which are neatly positioned within the tropical garden. The bungalow chalets all come with patio, hammock, king-size bed, air conditioner, TV and refrigerator.
Our deluxe suites provide a luxurious feeling, offering not only TV, DVD player, veranda, king-size bed and air conditioner, but also a private jacuzzi with a stunning view over the lagoon and the sand dunes.
Due to its excellent geographical location, the coast of “Rio Grande do Norte” is spoiled with waves from every direction. This enables surfing all year round. The best spots are located between Tibau do Sul and Praia da Pipa. The point, reef and beach breaks work best when the ground-swells roll down, from November to March, on their long way from the North Atlantic.
Upon request, we can arrange daily or weekly surf guiding for advanced riders. We will take you to different spots of the region, allowing you to enhance your skills in different waves every day.
1. Surf course - package
You can choose between a surfcourse or an SUP (Stand Up Paddle) course. During the surf course, the guides will take you to a nearby beach for instruction. With the support of our surf teachers, you will be able to choose a suitable board every day. Included in the price: 7 nights accommodation, a rich fresh breakfast buffet (all you can eat), 10 h surf course including all material.
2. Surf guiding - package
For intermediate and advanced surfers who like to know about the spots of the area with a surfing guide. Included in the price: 7 nigths accommodation, a rich fresh breakfast buffet (all you can eat), the course including material, spot and airport tranfers. 7 nights accommodation, a rich fresh breakfast buffet (all you can eat), surf guiding (7x per week)
3. Bed & breakfast
For an independant stay in our beautiful surfcamp - surfcourses / -guidings and other acivities can be booked spontainous. Included in the price: 7 nigths accommodation, daily a rich fresh breakfast buffet (all you can eat).
