Embedded in the natural reserve of the wonderful Cap Ferret peninsula which shields the Bassin d´Arcachon from the Atlantic Ocean, is the typically French Cote de Lumiére pine forest “Le Truc Vert” – in English “The Green Spot”. Our summer camp at Cap Ferret lies in the midst of a nature reserve: full of green pine forest, bright fawn beach and only 150 m away from the campground lies the azure colored ocean – these are the colors of the summer here! “Live to surf” is our motto and we try our best to convey this to our customers. Besides surfing the area around the Cap Ferret has culturally a lot to offer. Wine degustation at one of the many French castles, boat tours over the Bassin d’Arcachon to the Dunes of Pila or Oyster eating in one of the beautiful fishing villages on the Cap Ferret is always an adventure.
You stay in large triple-tents with electricity and light, these can be rented for double- or single occupancy. Our Camp is famous for its experienced and well-rehearsed team, it’s delicious food and it’s comfortable, familiar atmosphere. We offer you full board, alternately evening-program, internet at the camping place, lots of place for kids, several chill corners and a idyllic campbar! The package price includes accommodation from Sunday to Saturday and dinner. For breakfast and lunch there is a full equipped kitchen available. Free WiFi available.
Course places are restricted to a maximum of 18 people. The course lasts five days, Monday to Friday, and is suitable for both absolute beginners and intermediates which are looking for a refresher course. And all of you who are already able to surf and want to improve some special moves we can offer the following: Surfing in the morning "Dawn Patrol" or during lunch time with the team. In addition we keep resuming theory topics ready.The practical part consists of two lessons each day, length and composition depends on the wind and waves, but they usually last around two hours. Theory lessons are integrated - depending on the situation - and take place at the beach or at the camp. Those who want to hurl themselves into the waves at the weekend may do so by renting a board and wetsuit locally, for a small fee. If the waves should let us down, we can organize a Volleyball tournament at the beach, Slack-Line or you can enjoy your time practicing Indo-Board - or get the feeling of riding a tube with tarpsurfing.
