Intact rainforest surrounding the most beautiful coves and palm-fringed beaches in the world. Within a radius of 15 kilometers, you can choose between numerous beach point and reef breaks. The conditions are perfect for all surfing levels throughout the year. Warm water and one of the longest righthand breaks in Brazil are waiting for you!
For all those who like to live centrally and are on a limited budget, we have a hotel in the heart of Itacare, not far from the local restaurants and bars. This pousada has the best restaurant in town with a terrace with ocean view. Directly in front of your hotel is the harbour, The harbour crossing takes about 150 strokes of the paddle and you are already at one of the best surf spot, brilliant at low tide! Breakfast on the panoramic terrace with views of the estuary and harbour. Rooms with private bathroom and ceiling fan or A/C and TV. You can use bicycles and WLAN free of charge. The owner couple takes care of all your wishes.
Just a short paddle across the harbour you'll find a very good beach break without big crowd. A little further away "Prainha", "Jeribucaçu" and "Engenhoca", are some of the beautiful local bays with a combo of beach and point breaks. Perfect and safe beaches for surf beginners - but also perfect and demanding conditions for surf pros! The licensed instructors look forward to guiding you through and to the most beautifull surf spots on Earth! Surf lessons, including materials and all transfers, lessons consist of 5 x 2 hours sessions.

To venture the surroundings and in order to be flexible, we suggest our visitors to rent a car (highly recommended). The rental car can either be booked upon arrival or together with your booking through sudden rush. The payment will be effectuated by credit card, upon arrival (about CHF 190.- / per week).
If you book prior departure, we will arrange a driver for your rental car on the first part of the way to the camp. He will drive you from Ilheus airport to the road to Itacaré. So you won't have to find your way alone through the streets of Ilheus.
