The peninsula is connected by a narrow headland with the Russian continent. With an area of approximately 472'300 km2, Kamchatka is slightly larger than Germany and Austria together. Through his decades of seclusion, Kamchatka could preserve its exceptional nature. The peninsula is dominated by the volcanoes: 30 active and over a hundred extinct volcanoes formed Kamchatka and marked its population. The winter in Kamchatka lasts from October to May and it can easily get 8 to 10 feet of snow! The volcanoes generally offer from February to May optimal snow conditions for heli-boarding.
The Hotel Bel-Kam-Tour **** is located on the outskirts of Petropavlovsk. All 43 rooms are equipped with shower and bathroom. Breakfast and dinner are served at the hotel. And a lunch-pack will be prepared for your lunch.
For recovery after the rides, 4 open thermal water pools are available at the hotel. The water comes from a depth of 1600 meters. The hotel also has a sauna, a Turkish bath, a gym and a billiard room and a night bar.
There are countless descents of varying difficulty and lengths. All heliski descents are between 3000 meters asl and sea level in the midst of the volcanic area. Highest Volcano on Kamchatka is the Klyuchevskaya Sopka with an altitude of 4750 meters. The descents have height differences up to 2200 meters, an average of 1,000 meters. Open and wide slopes, easy to dificult descents, steep to flat stretches and extremely difficult slopes, Kamchatka offers super freeride pleasure. A few runs go through forest and glacier. The size of the ski area is limited only by the scope of the helicopters and the skills of the participants.
In Kamchatka is not always just powder snow, you also must be able to ride in bad conditions such as Windharst, wet and heavy snow. Mixed groups: Participants are divided into groups depending on their skills and stamina.
Helicopter & pilots / flight engineers
The helicopter type MI8 is known in many countries as good and very reliable. It is powered by two turbofan engines. The helicopter is always piloted with 2 pilots in additional security means. We assure you that the helicopter be flown by very experienced pilots and serviced by conscientious flight engineers.
Mountain guide, safety
All Heli Guides are trained mountain guides who bring professional experience and belong to the International Association of Mountain Guides Associations.
Requirements
Required is that you have your snowboard or your ski always under control in all types of terrain and in all snow conditions. Your physical fitness is of utmost importance!

8 days Sunday to Sunday (from / to Petropavlovsk), accommodation, all meals, transfers, including 8 guaranteed heli flight hours. Group size: 6 - 7 person form a Heliski group which is led by an experienced mountain guide. Max. 2 groups per helicopter. Participants are divided into groups depending on their skills and stamina.
