Oahu Surfcamp
Hawaii, the absolute Mekka for surfers around the globe, welcomes you! Oahu is an island of natural contrast: To the south the densely populated centres of Honolulu and the hotel skyscrapers of Waikiki, to the north banana and sugar cane plantations, rain forests in the mountain regions and rocky coastline with pristine beaches. Then there are two volcanic mountain ranges, the ‘Koolaus’ to the East and the ‘Waianae’ mountains to the West. These stretch from north to south across the whole island. In between lies a fertile plain. The climate is extremely pleasant all year round and there is no need for a wetsuit!

Hostel
You stay in a hostel / hotel of your choice in Waikiki, Honolulu and get picked up for the surfing lessons there. We recommend the Waikiki Beach Side Hostel which is located in Honolulu less than a block from the world famous Waikiki Beach and close to restaurants, nightlife, shopping, beaches, and all Hawaii’s main adventure activities and attractions. You can book your stay directly at Sudden Rush.Private accommodation
Private accommodation at Arlene & Josh's house. Apart from your hosts, you will also be sharing the place with two dogs and two cats. You will have a single/double room and access to all of the house facilities including WiFi. There are no meals included, but you have the possibility to use the fully equiped kitchen with fridge. There's also a swimmingpool and a small garden. The house located a short distance from the Kailua Beach Park. Please note: This isn't a surfcamp, it's a private accommodation with surflessons provided by the local surfschool and is therefore not recommended for single travelers, with rental car only (no transfers to surf spot included). -
Surf
Your surfing - or SUP - lessons will be held at the surfspot "Diamond Head" where mostly best and constant conditions waiting for you. The surf instructor crew has years of experience touring the world surfing and teach you in English.
