In the Indian Ocean between Java and Lombok you can find the absolute surfer's dream - Bali!
Bali is the westernmost of the small Sundaislands and is separated from Java by the 2.5 kilometres broad Bali-straigt. Experience the wonder of a destination with its everlasting charme. The enchanting Island of the Gods and Demons, its temples and distinctive fragrances. The locals are extremely friendly and are carried by their deep religious faith, which protects their fructous landscape, their trees and traditional houses. Dip into this inimitable culture!
On the island, you can find up to six different vegetation zones, there's everything from lava countryside to mangrove forests. The animal variety in this surfing paradise is also incredibly stunning. You can find distinct monkeys, saurians and snakes - a visit of the National Park is highly recommended!
You will also be surprised by the culinary adventure of the balinese cuisine. The mix of Indian/Arabic heritage such as ginger, cardamom and curcuma, and the Portugese heritage of chilies together with the influence of European vegetables brought to the island by Dutch sailors, makes the fusioncuisine of Bali one not to miss.
Bali is also known for its temple complexes, waterfalls, mountain lakes, rice terraces, vulcanoes and handicrafts - an island full of surprises!
The camp base is in Canggu, which is a quiet village located 15 minutes north of Seminyak with very popular surfing spots just in front. Staying among the traditional fishermen houses gives you a good opportunity to feel the real Bali experience. Canggu has developed a fancy and artistic surf community with a variety of numerous laid back surfshops, warungs, bars and restaurants. The beach is 400 meters away from the camp base and the next surf spot can be reached within a 10 minutes walk.
You will be staying in two beautiful camp houses surrounded by a nice tropical garden with pool. It features a mango-shaped pool, massage corner, spacious living and dining area, restaurant, bar, Hi-Fi, TV and DVD-Player and Wi-Fi. You'll be enjoying a relaxed atmosphere, exquisite and healthy food and the legendary Cocktail Night with BBQ every Friday. The main building features a unique open viewing terrace, which enbales views of the rice fields and the perfect Bali sunset.
Both buildings are equipped with hand-carved Balinese furniture and offer open living areas. Our six airconditioned bedrooms with private bathrooms, give you total privacy. Single rooms can be booked during low season on additional charge. The rooms have private bahtrooms, terrace or balcony, aircondition, towels, mosquito net and a lockable cupboard.
Included in the package price is 7 nights' accommodation, the transfer to the airport Denpasar, a large daily breakfast buffet, dinner and WLAN too.

We're gonna check the conditions of swell, wind and tides for you. We will bring you to the right place for surfing at the right time. Our experienced team knows the right spot for every level - for beginners well suitable Beachbreaks, over to fast Reefbreaks and of course they also know some perfect secret spots. You can combine the different surf packages differently and individually. For example visit the surf school in the first week, then book a basic guiding and in the end full power with an intensive guiding. Or you can take a three week intensive guiding course, if you're up for it - it's your choice.
Our groups are individually composed depending on the surflevel, so we can give you the optimum support in theory and practice. You will be in a group of max. 4 people. It doesn't matter which level you have - we're gonna push your surfing from the first board contact up to intensive training.

Surfing season in Bali is during the whole year, rainy season from December until March

Water temperature: average around 27°C - no wetsuit needed!

2. Surfing
Surf School: If you have no surf experience, but you really want to learn it fast and with the correct technique - surf school is your start into a surfer's life. Instructor student ratio 1 : 4. Per week included is: 5 x 1.5h Surfschool (mon -fri), 2 x Videocoaching, 2 x basic theory and training. Surfboard is included.
Basic Guiding: Surfguiding and coaching with sufficient time, so you can also follow other activities such as shopping, sightseeing, party etc. This course is less intense, you won't get up before 7 am every day to go surfing, and some afternoons you will be chilling instead of surfing. Instructor student ratio 1 : 4. Per week is included: 5 x Coaching session (mon-fr) per approx. 4 hours inclusive transfer, 2 x Videocoaching, intermediate theory and training.
Intensive Guiding: The devoted surfer's dream. Full power surf as often and as long as you want. Two sessions on nearly each day, early sessions, filming almost every day, a bunch of background information. Instructor student ratio 1 : 4. Per week included is: 8 x Coaching session (mon - fr approx. 4 hours inclusive transfer), 4 x video coaching, advanced theory and training.
Private Guiding: A coach completely for you alone. There isn't a more individual and effective coaching than this! The surfcamp offers special private hours for each level of surfing, also for children and youngsters between 8 and 15 years of age. Package on request. Early registration necessary. Private Coaching sessions take place from Monday to Friday during 4 hours inclusive transfer. Training, theory, video coaching and surfboard included.
High-quality boards in all sizes and shapes of 6'0" to 9'0"- hand shaped, tuflite and NSP.
Surf coaching is also available to non-residents at the camp and can be booked with a surcharge.

Surfboard rental
included in the Surfschool and Private Guiding package, the rental price is per week is EUR 50 / per day EUR 10. The board rental has to be paid locally.
Camp Shop
New boards can be bought around EUR 350. Surf material at a reasonable price, surfboards, wax, leashes, grip decks Rush-shirts, board shorts, booties and sunscreen.
Yoga
The camp itself does not offer yoga classes. However, there are several yoga classes around the camp .
You will arrive at the Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar Bali. Airport transfers are included on arrival and departure in the package price. The ride from the airport to the camp takes about 40 minutes. Just give us your flight details (airline, flight number and arrival time), so we can arrange the transfer for you. Newly we offer an airport shuttle service at night: For an additional cost of 225,000 rupiah (about EUR 15.00) night surcharge between 22:30 - 6:00 clock collected.
