This unique surf house is only 5 minutes by foot from the beautiful beach Playa Hermosa in Costa Rica. The eco built with a lot of love and has got 3 bed rooms, a shared kitchen, bathroom and toilet. The house is in a very safe environment next to a small supermarket. Only 5min walk away from to the famous "Playa Hermosa".
Each room is equipped with a double bed, the necessary extras and has space for maximum 2 people. The rooms can be rented individually or you can book the whole house with your friends or family (3 bed rooms, max. 6 persons). For a surcharge, breakfast or half-board can be booked additionally. Otherwise you can cook yourself in the cozy communal kitchen.
Costa Rica has many good surf spots, but Santa Teresa is an area with the best beach breaks of the country and has consistent waves all year round.
The surf spot of Hermosa provides waves for absolute beginners to advanced surfers . Or many other surf spots in Santa Teresa such as Beach, Point - and Reefbreacks offer a wide range, so that every surfer finds his perfect wave. The water temperatures are warm throughout the year, so you can easily surf in your shorts / bikini.
1. Rental of the whole Hermosa Surf House
The whole house per night: 1-2 person 2-4 person or 5-6 person. Breakfast or half-board can be booked optional. For longer stays (2 weeks) we provide a discount on request.
2. Surfing course:
We offer surfing lessons (English) in theory and practice, 2 hours a day, 5 days a week and provide the whole surf equipment. Beginners need to book surfing lessons to rent a board with us. For advanced surfers we organize the preferred surfboard to rent.

Surf Spot Guiding
We offer spot guiding, for advanced surfers. On request, we will drive you with your rental car or a 4WD taxi to the different spots in the area to find the perfect wave. Surf guiding can only be booked locally due it depends on the conditions where we are taking you.
Spanish lessons
Upon request individual or group lessons in Spanish can be organized. 5x per week for 2 hours a day. Class times are flexible.
Cost: Spanish lessons : CHF 170 / EUR 140 per week per person
Children
Minimum age: 8 years.
Rental car
In Santa Teresa, Mal Pais and Playa Hermosa the houses, restaurants and shops are spread all along the beach, there is no real center and therefore a car is recommended. It can be rented in San José or Santa Teresa. For the relaxed traveller it's also sufficient to take taxis to get around. ATV's can be rented on site too.
