The Surf Camp is located 10 minutes drive from Ericeira, in a former fishing village 30 km north of Lisbon, famous for its surf spots and good waves. The surf school beach Praia Sao Juliao can be reached in 10 minutes.
The surfcamp is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a big swimming pool, not far from our surf school beach São Julião. A villa with 4 bedrooms and a sea view terrace, embedded in a natural preserve. A perfect combination, that guarantees a remarkable surf trip for everyone.
A villa with 4 bedrooms (for 2, 4 and 6 persons, mostly with a bathroom en suite), a fully equipped kitchen, large living- and dining area and a sea view terrace, embedded in a natural preserve. Extras at the surf camp: swimming pool, BBQ deluxe, pool table, darts, slackline, TV, DVD player, ipod station, wifi (bring your laptop) and boardgames.
It's a little South of Ericeira, but the small town is easy reachable by car and there are several surf spots close to the accommodation. BBQ deluxe every Friday, coasts per person €18/incl. drinks (locally bookable).
Ericeira is the surfing capitol of Portugal! 5 minutes by car from the surf camp, the beautiful sand beach São Julião offers perfect surfing conditions for beginners to advanced surfers. If you like to surf on your own (without surfing lessons), a rental car is very recommended! There are over 20 spots in the area of Ericeira, so it's best if you have the flexibility of a car.
1. Surf course-package
This package is our offer for relaxed and remarkable surf holidays for beginners and intermediate surfers. Our surfing instructors will teach you 5 days a week for 3 hours per day at a surf spot suitable for your skill level, mostly São Julião beach. The theory lessons and video analyses are included in the sessions. The price includes: 7 nights accommodation, 7x breakfast, 5x 3 hours surfing lessons, video analyses, all surfing equipment (wetsuit & surfboard). From the 2nd course day you can also use surf equipment out of the course-time. Spottransfer from camp to surfbeach costs EUR 2 / way, in case you don't have a rental car (recommended).
2. Bed & breakfast package
Our SurfCamp has rooms for 4 to 6 people, one doublebedroom and the option to stay in a three bed room for an additional fare. This Package is perfectly suited for experienced surfers or all of you who want to relax by the pool and explore the region and don’t need surf lessons or guiding (rental car highly recommended!). The price includes: 7 nights accommodation, 7x breakfast

The price includes: 7 nights accommodation, 7x breakfast, 5x 3 hours surfing lessons, video analyses, all surfing equipment (wetsuit & surfboard). For beginners the surf course is obligatory, since we do not rent surfboards to absolute beginners. All the material is included in the surf lessons. The spot transfer is not included and must be paid locally. WARNING: During low season a minimum number of participants the surf course is 4 people!

Surfboard rental
We do not rent surfboards to absolute beginners without taking surf lessons. In all beginner lessons the equipment is included.

Apartment / Villas
We offer you to book on self-catering base in and around Ericeira the possibility of individually apartments and houses. This offer is ideal for families and groups who want to stay more among themselves. The surf course is to be booked additionaly. Prices on request at Sudden Rush.
Arrival: Saturday or Sunday, it is possible in the off-season, other days.
ATTENTION: should be noted that the minimum number of participants during the surf course is 4 people during low season!
