The Maldives are the true surfing jewel of the Indian Ocean. Surfing perfect waves in warm, crystal clear water, exploring the surrounding islands, chilling on the deck, snorkeling with the local manta rays or try to catch a big fish for your dinner – these will be your daily activities. The surfing potential in this zone is unbelievable with high-quality spots and worldclass breaks. The surf is bigger and more powerful than at north Male Atoll with waves very similar to the Indonesian ones, but the season is shorter, lasting from February to April and then from September to October.

Boat trips are the best way to explore these beautiful atolls. Our partner in for the Maledives boattrip has a reputation for delivering the “dream safaris” since 2002. Now after a complete rebuild our Boat "Hamathi" is again ready to be the leader of the fleet. With five twin / double spacious ensuited rooms available for guests, she has a capacity to carry ten passengers in comfort. The added benifit is that "Hamathi" can sail with only four guests.
Daily routine : 6 am starts and anchor as near as possible to surfing points, this is at the Captains discretion. Coffee and tea is served with fruit available, bananas on the bunch. Breakfast is at 9 am but this and all meals can be tailored to suit guests and surfing conditions. Lunch is served at 1 pm and evening meal at 7.30 pm. The anchor is taken at 5.30 pm and the safari safely anchors in the nearest harbour for the night. All harbours are only 5 or 10 minutes from the surfing points and are completely safe anchorages.
Boat features
Cabins: 6 comfortable, double/twin cabins, each with port holes. All cabins with en-suite shower, hot and cold water and toilet.
Accommodation: Lower deck – 2 cabins with a double bed and a single bunk in each cabin, 2 cabin with 2 single bunk-bed, 1 cabin with double beds. Upper deck – 1 cabin with a double bed.
Kitchen: Table top cookers, 02 Freezers / 02 Refrigerators. Full board (3 meals a day) consisting of a balanced mixture of international and local cuisines served buffet style. Complimentary tea, coffee, Juice and mineral water served all day.
Bar: Saloon with bar offers a wide choice of fresh fruit juice, soft drinks, cocktails, liquors, wine and beer.
Crew: 5 crew members - including Skipper & Chef
There are two distincts surf zones, depending on the period of year. One of them is the north atoll of Male, which is home to famous spot such as Pasta Point, Sultan’s, Honky’s, Chicken, Jailbreak or Coke’s. The second surf zone is only reachable by boat. The southern atoll of Huvadhoo (Gaafu), located 300 miles south of Male, grants satisfaction for the surfer in search for undiscovered waves.
