Boracay is a typical paradise. Turquoise water and white sandy beaches. Everything you need to do is to relax and enjoy your holidays – kite surfing, snorkelling, diving, shopping, partying and discovering lonesome bays. The Bulabog beach is an Eldorado for kite surfers with its side-onshore winds and area for beginners protected from a reef. Borocay is generally well suited for beginners. Advanced kite surfers will find perfect conditions for kite safaris on the insular state with around 7000 islands. Many undiscovered islands and beaches are waiting for you to discover and kite them.
With its location directly at the Bulabog Beach, the kite- and windsurf beach of the island, the Bungalow Resort is perfectly suited for water sportsmen.
Rooms
Ordinary, furnished bungalows, all of them with shower/WC, two single beds respectively double bed with mosquito net, a huge wardrobe, mini bar, cable-TV, ventilator as well as a free WLAN access. Every room has its own terrace or balcony. There are six double bungalows as well as one family bungalow with two separate bedrooms. Breakfast is served in the tropic garden. Furthermore there is a small restaurant in the garden, which serves European and Asian food. You are invited to chill in the hammocks and deck chairs while sipping cocktails and shakes. Furthermore you can use the BBQ, the laundry service and the bike rental. At surfers home you have the possibility to store your kitestuff for free on a safe place.
Kite lessons
You will be teached by experienced IKO and VDWS instructors. We train using a two-for-one system. This means that two students practice with one set equipment at a time (one kite and one board), so there’s a learner and one who belays. This enables the student to exercise much more intensively and means both will learn to belay each other and that an optimal level of safety is maintained. We instruct approximately four students at once. The equipment is checked every day for safety!
We recommend our guests to make their beginner course in Union Beach we bring our guests there for free. The Union Beach is an identical Kitespot to Bulabog Beach only 15 Minunten drive away - a huge 500x6 kilometers shallow waterterain with protective outer reef and plenty of space for relaxed learning. Up to 250 riders can be on the water in the high season on Bulabog Beach.
Wind and climate
High season with constant winds and solid direction from north/east is from the beginning of November until the end of March. The rainy season is in May and June when the rain often continues for days.
