The Property
Our arty surf guest house connects with a generous wooden deck to the fully renovated shed. In which not only has been put loads of heart and love, but also a fucking awesome bar, the bone breaking indoor mini ramp and a cinema. All over the almost 5000 m2 big property there are hidden corners with hammocks, places to hang out and relax. The swimming pool and the outdoor miniramp together with the green lush garden gives you the ultimate chill out factor after the surf or party!

The Sourroundings
Just around the corner: Easily by foot to reach is the lake of Soustons and there’s a whole lot of well connected cycling tracks all along the coast. The next beach is just about 6 km away and even the top surf spots as Les Casernes, Les Bourdaines, Les Estagnots or La Gravière are within 15 to 20 minutes by car reachable. We’re perfectly located between Hossegor and Vieux Boucau, a bit off the overcrowded touristy spots but within a blink of an eye right there, ready to go crazy..

The accommodation options
Guesthouse
We’re pleased to lodge you in one of the cosy shared bedrooms (4 people). Depending on the bookings the rooms also can be booked as a double room against an upgrade fee. Besides the roof over the head, the fresh bed and only for the guest of the house reserved bathroom, the house benefits you also with access to the fridge and the food boxes in the rooms.

Bungalow double / single use
You can also treat yourself with the variation of stying in your own bungalow. The bungalows are very lovingly furnished with large double bed, terrace, etc. These can be used alone or can be booked for two. Perfect for couples or otherwise, just because you can.

Caravan single / double room
You rather want to have your own room or for the two of you. We offer the caravan rooms, which can be booked as single or double rooms.

Camping: bus or tent
It doesn’t matter if you’re on a surf trip by bus with your mates or just want to pitch your tent. At ours you’re more than welcome to stay. Just park your bus plug it in if needed. To pitch your tent we have got some nice shady spots in the lush garden. In addition you have access to the outdoor kitchen and shower as you please.

Check out is at 11:00am and check in is at 02:00pm, so there’s enough time to guarantee you a nice and neat bed. If you have problems making it in time, just let us know in advance.

Surf

All the regional spots are breaking over sandy bottom except for some waves close to jetties. Even if it's sand, don't underestimate it. The sand is always in motion, likely are the surfspots and never break at the exact same spot. To name a few regional classics: Messanges, Vieux Boucau, Les Casernes, Le Penon, Les Bourdaines, Les Estagnots, Culs Nuls, La Gravière, La Nord, La Sud, Le Prevent, Santocha, VVW, La Piste...etc. The guys from the surf guest house know when and which break is on.

We offer a package with the following two deals:
- Crash Course Surf Deal -  Included is one surf lesson à 2h, including surf equipment.
- Serious Surf Course Deal - Included are 4 surflessons à 2h, including surf equipment.
Our friends love the local surf school and live their job wholeheartedly. You can feel it and that's why they do all Surf courses. They bring you not only to surf but give you the right attitude.

Surf Equipment
If you didnt bring your own surfboard, you can rent one from our range incl. wetsuit, unless it isnt already included in the deal. Some of our surfboards are already at the surf school on the beach of "Les Casernes". So the annoying transport is not necessary. If you want to go surf on your own, you may like to take a board directly from our Surf Guesthouse.

Surf course Packages

If you don't have any surf experience or it was back in the days, we highly recommend you to take surf lessons. The surf instructors bring you way faster to surf or back on board. Our surf guides love and live for their job with all their heart. This shows off in their teaching and that's exactly why all our surf courses are run by them. They not just learn you to surf, but also the right surf spirit.

The more advanced surfers just need to get hold of the surf guest house guys, they know the region at its best and rarely hesitate for a good forecasted early surf!

Airport transfer / arrival

Airplane
Bordeaux: TOP DEAL with easyJet! From Basel-Mulhouse to Bordeaux, including car rental book at same time as reservation! Otherwise without rental car, with the shuttle bus (called Navette) to Bordeaux "St.Jean" station about 30-45 minutes. Trains run regularly to Dax (about 1 hour), where we are happy to pick you up at the train station for a fee of EUR 40 per trip (not per person).

Biarritz: At the airport Biarritz we will pick you up for a fee of EUR 50 per trip.

Car
About Geneva - Lyon - Clermont-Ferrand - St.Etienne - Bordeaux, direction Bayonne, exit No. 10 Dax / Vieux-Boucau / Magescq, then direction Soustons..

Train
Night train from Geneva to Dax (final station is Biarritz). We will pick you up for a fee of EUR 40 per trip at the train station.

Surf Express Vieux Boucau
Surf Express from Germany and Switzerland to Vieux Boucau. For approximately EUR 150 (depending on the departure point) you will drive from Friday to Saturday to France and from Saturday to Sunday back to Switzerland. The trips can/should be booked 2 weeks before the departure.
