Nothing but surfing – do you want to do copious amounts of surfing and learn through intensive training? Far from any tourist resort, the beaches of Northern Gran Canaria invite you to learn to surf and join the ‘Surfari’! Come along to the small fishing village of San Felipe, which is also renowned for its delicious and low-priced seafood restaurants. Our surf house is located right by the sea. Here you’ll find real surfer’s lifestyle; the sounds of the ocean and the spectacular views from the roof-deck will ensure you are relaxed and chilled out!
The surf camp is located in San Felipe on the northern coast of Gran Canaria. Just a 20 min drive from Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria, it’s entirely surrounded by banana plantations. Travelling by bus, it’s possible to explore the north of the island or to visit Las Palmas. Here you’ll be able to shop, go sightseeing around the historical quarter, snorkel and party!! For sure the best way to see the island is to rent a car. (Attention: You should be at least 21 years old).

The camp house
Experience the true atmosphere of surfing and create your day on the water with ocean waves ... Our little Surf Hostel is located in San Felipe, next to the surf spot Vagabundos and is not 10 meters from the water. It's simple, but it has got a lot of love. Chille look in the lounge room while surfing videos on TV, bask on the roof terrace overlooking the sea, grille in the courtyard with your new friends and enjoy Gran Canaria north coast flair. Are you not after surfing too tired, then you can allow (on foot 15 minutes) or with a hike into Moyatal finish for natural climbing the day at sea pool.
The apartment
If you are looking for a hotel for you and your friends directly to one of the best spots of Gran Canaria, you are exactly right in the apartment. The "Derecha del Roque" you can check from your room here comfortably. In the two bedrooms of the property total up to 6 people come under, so it is perfect for a surf trip with your friends. In the immediate vicinity are the top surf spots Derecha del Roque, El Picacho and Boquines. The apartment is fully designed for surfers and offers a relaxing atmosphere and nice touches such as a surfboard rack. The Surf Camp can be reached in 5 minutes by car.

The Roca Negra Hotel & Spa is located in the northwest of Gran Canaria, in the white city of Agaete, under the green National Park Tamadaba, embedded in volcanic environment. Let yourself be seduced by the natural charm of this place: swimming in the Atlantic Ocean in wild sea swimming pool, wander through secluded canyons and the highest cliffs in Europe, Faneque. Enjoy the spectacular views of the blue Atlantic Ocean, under a clear sky until the majestic Mount Teide on Tenerife. Relax in the unique rooms (Classic, Superior, Superior Plus, Junior Suite). You can learn to surf at the following beach breaks: Molokai, La Cicer or Vagaboundos. For the more experienced surfer, test your skills at El Roque, Bouquinis and Quintanilla and dare to find the perfect wave in: El Confital, El Lloret and in El Circo!
Surf Course for beginners and intermediates
Each day you will receive 5 hours of lessons, for 5 days of the week. You will learn safe surfing on the beaches of Gran Canaria. We constantly review your surfing ability to ensure that you are being challenged, while also learning. Allow yourself to be watched and instructed on how to improve your skills – this will ensure maximum surf satisfaction! Included are 7 nights accommodation at the camp or appartment, 5 days surfing course for 5 hours incl. surfboard, wetsuit, snack on the beach, photos and video analysis, dvd with your surfing sesssions.

5. My private surf coach (only in winter)
For beginners and advanced surfers
Imagine you are surfing every day 4 hours with your private surf instructor. Your private coach trains you in practice and theory, and gives you tips and tricks for your surfing goals. Selecting the right board and the right spots for your surfing level and a coordinated for you Training guarantees you fast success. Also during the skateboard sessions, video analysis and personal fitness training is all about one thing: improving your surf skills. Includes 7 nights accommodation at the Surf Hostel, 5 days, 4 hours private surf coaching incl. Material, snack on the beach, DVD with your surf sessions and your own Surf Coach Volume.
The courses are held in German or English.
