"sudden rush surfcamp"

The location of this Sudden Rush Surfcamp is one of the most beautiful places on earth - the southern peak of the Nicoya peninsula in Costa Rica. Your accommodation is built on the beach, actually on the sand. The virgin waves of the Pacific Ocean break only 30 metres from your bed. The camp is managed by our Austrian friend and longboarder Peter Ottinger. Make sure that you reserve your room early, since the two large ranchos only have four rooms. Of course you can also book only the accommodation in one of the ranchos!

Accommodation:
The ranchos are situated directly on the beach and in the middle of a private jungle. All rooms have bathroom/showers/toilets, air-conditioning, refrigerator and four beds. Two rooms even have kitchen facilities. At the beginning of each day (apart from Sunday) you can enjoy a hearty breakfast in the camp-owned restaurant which has a reputation for its excellent Brazilian cuisine. Single persons are accommodated in a four bed studio 200 metres from the beach (maximum 4 persons).

Surfing:
Surfing on your doorstep! On foot you can reach over ten different surf spots. Beach breaks, point breaks, reef breaks, estuaries and slow longboard waves - there is plenty of that! Peter knows every spot in the area and will readily share his secrets with you. The boards are at your disposal before, during and after the courses!

The camp price includes :
accommodation for 7 nights, breakfast, surfing courses or guided surfing tours (1.5 hours a day, 5 days a week), surfing boards and equipment.

Rental car: can be hired through Sudden Rush and claimed in San Jose - not necessary for camp participants
Surfclasses: Coaching by Peter - lessons in German, English and Spanish
Boards: included for camp participants, also available outside surfing lesson hours
Season: good conditions all year round
Activities: trekking, excursions in the national parks, all watersports, deep-sea fishing etc.
