"Sudden Rush Surfcamp"

The gorgeous island of Bali is situated only 8 degrees latitude south of the equator. With a tropical climate and two seasons, it has an average temperature of 28° Celsius. Due to the rich volcanic soil and the monsoon rain, the island is very fertile and green. In spite of the tourism, the native population of Bali has deep spiritual roots and a very lively culture. Most of the local population are Hindu.

The location of the surf camp, as well as the accommodation provided, is in Legian, where you have a choice of several beach breaks. The dry winter (May to September) ensures best surfing conditions, especially on the West Coast from Medewi to Uluwatu, whereas the humid summer months (October to April) provide for good conditions on the East Coast, from Nusa Dua to Sanur. A whole day without waves is a rarity on Bali...

Accommodation:
You stay in a typical Bali home in the very centre of Legian. The private garden with swimming pool makes you forget that you are staying close to all the restaurants, bars and shops. It offers an ideal place to chill out between the surf sessions and even has some Playstations! The beach is within easy reach on foot. Accommodation is in lovely single or double rooms!

Surfing:
Our surfing coach "Matti" speaks English and always chooses the right spot according to weather and season. You certainly are in good hands with him! The surfing courses take place from Monday to Friday and include boards, equipment and transfers to the surfing spots. There are no beginner courses from December to March!

accommodation for 7 nights, breakfast, surfing course, incl. equipment (5 days a week) and all transfers (airport/surf spots).
