Quick Facts
Overview
Tamraght and Aourir are separated by banana plantations and are therefore also known as “Banana Village”. The mixed population of Tamraght, consisting of locals and Europeans, gives the small town a more original flair than the nearby Taghazout.
Small shops, cafés, and restaurants can be reached within a ten-minute walk from the property. Due to the increasing number of travelers, Tamraght offers a wide variety of restaurants with both regional Moroccan and international influences.
Tamraght is about a ten-minute walk from the nearest beach, where you can surf, ride camels or relax with a Moroccan tea.
4 REASONS FOR A SUDDEN RUSH SURF TRIP TO TAMRAGHT:
- Beautiful “All Vegan Boutique Hotel” with garden, panorama pool and sea view
- Daily Yoga sessions as well as access to climbing wall, skate bowl and sauna
- Morocco’s top surf spots as well as beginner beaches
- Short journey time thanks to the proximity to Agadir
Accommodation
Surf Hotel is located on a small hill in Tamraght overlooking the village and Banana Beach. The house was built largely of wood to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All rooms have a wooden balcony and mostly sea views or views of the streets of Tamraght and the surrounding area.
Our large tropical garden offers plenty of space to relax, but also a skate bowl and a climbing wall, for all those who want to exercise. After a day of surfing, you can relax in the sauna or take part in a Sunset Yoga session held on our yoga terrace with panoramic views.
The special feature is the panoramic pool with swing, where you can end the day especially well during the beautiful African sunset.
The house has a total of 9 rooms and can accommodate a maximum of 30 guests.
Surf
The nearest surf spot to be reached from the surf camp is Devil’s Rock, a sandy beach break with left and right waves. About the same running distance (700m) is Banana Point, a relaxed right wave that offers constant surfing in the winter months. North of Devil’s Rock is Crocodiles, a beach break that offers plenty of opportunities to improve your surfing style. Crocodiles is also very reliable with small swells. If you have a rental car, well-known spots like Anchor Point and Killerpoint are only ten minutes away.
The surf course is run by an external surf school. A professional and well-structured surf coaching is guaranteed to take you to the next level.
