Overview
Surfing and relaxing on one of the most beautiful beaches on the north coast of Bahia! In the private, quiet ambience of Busca Vida you will experience unforgettable moments and perfect surf spots, surrounded by pure nature and good waves. Busca Vida Condominio is a protected nature reserve, located directly on the sea and surrounded by forests, lagoons and sand dunes. And fortunately, the camp is just in front of one of the best reef breaks of the entire beach with perfect waves on days with South Swell!
Salvador, the capital of the state of Bahia and the first capital of Brazil, was the birthplace of colonial Brazil. The city’s colourful centre is just 24.9 miles from the surf camp, giving guests easy access to the city’s attractions and culture. The international airport is located in the north of the city and is only 10 kilometers from the surf camp, so that the arrival on site is quick and uncomplicated.
The camp manager “Beto” worked as a professional surfer in the 90s. As one of the best surfers in the state, he was Bahia-Champ in 1999 and is still known nationally as a promoter and host of the coast. Thanks to his know-how, his many years of experience and his Brazilian mind, he is the perfect host!

Accommodation
The Bahia Surfcamp in Salvador offers an easy but comfortable stay in love-decorated beach houses, with the best point break of the bay on your doorstep. The houses are cleaned daily and are equipped with air conditioning and WiFi. The menu varies from typical Brazilian food to international dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. Juices, mineral water and fruits are available at any time of the day.
Standard accommodation
In this cozy shared house there are two shared rooms for up to 4 people. In addition to a shared bathroom, the house has a cosy living room. There is also a double room with private bathroom and private entrance.
Bungalow Suite
Bungalow Suites have bright and modern rooms with double and single beds and private bathrooms. Each room can accommodate up to 4 people, but can also be booked as a double or single room.
Master & Surf House Suites
The newly renovated Surf House has two double bedrooms with private bathrooms and a very spacious Luxury Suite. Luxury Suite offers a peaceful garden, a walk-in closet, and a queen-size bed. In addition, the house has spacious common areas.
Bar & Café
Here all our guests can enjoy traditional Brazilian snacks and drinks. In the cozy lounge, there are incredibly delicious bowls, fruits, muesli and some of Brazil’s most delicious roasted coffees. All ingredients are made from organic and fresh products. And in the evening there are specially created Brazilian cocktails!

Surf
With six beaches and point breaks, the region is one of the best surf spots on the north coast of Bahia, truly a surfer’s paradise. The combination of surf lessons and the yoga lessons offered provides a balance between sport and nature. Other good surf spots on the north coast such as Scar Reef, Praia do Forte, Itacimirim or Aleluia can be visited depending on the surfing conditions.
In addition to the home spot in front of the camp, most of the spots are between 10 and 20 kilometers from the camp. If the surfing conditions are right, then the home spot in Busca Vida is one of the best in the region, so that you usually surf on the “own” beach and avoid long trips.
For surf excursions, depending on Swell, you can go to the spot on Aleluia beach or surf on a reef break about 10 kilometers south of the camp. The spot Itacimirim is about 30 kilometers and Praia do Forte about 40 kilometers north of Busca Vida. Praia do Forte is a great spot for Advanced Surfers.
The surf lessons are based on the “Australian Coach Program”, which starts with the basic safety rules including a detailed introduction to all important topics related to the elements: ocean, equipment, techniques and surf spot. Based on the assessment during the first lesson, each guest is assigned a program according to their needs.
Guests who already have intermediate level experience are taken to the next level by individual tips on surfing techniques.
During the weekly program and depending on the conditions of the waves, we offer surf trips to certain beaches, which promote the development and consolidation of the correct surfing technique. In addition, we offer tours and possibilities to explore our coast. We prefer beaches that are suitable according to wave and wind conditions and allow guests a safe & relaxing day of surfing.

Arrival
Bahia Surf Camp is located just 20 minutes North of Salvador de Bahia International Airport (SSA)The best way to get here is calling an UBER, type “Bahia Surf Camp” as destination. The average cost is 7 Euros.
IMPORTANT
The Bahia Surf Camp is located inside of Condominium Busca Vida (gated community) with restricted access. Once you confirm the booking you must fill out the security information form to be granted access through the main gate from 7 AM to 9 PM. (it will be sent by email)
Late Transfer
If you arrived from 9 PM to 7 AM, You must use the special driver service who has access to the main gate and to the Surf Camp. He will pick you up at the airport for the cost of 20 Euros. to be paid directly to the driver.(It will be sent by email)
