The Nicaragua Surf camp with infinity pool and views of jungle and sea near La Paquita is open all year round and offers 340 days of off-shore winds. In other words, here you can surf every day! The surf school is suitable for beginners to advanced surfers, with qualified surf instructors you can explore the spots in the area. And in the evening you will experience dreamlike sunsets, of course with a cool drink in your hand!

Accommodation
From the Surf Resort, you can walk along a beautiful jungle path in just 15 minutes to the famous beach “Playa Maderas”, a beach break known as one of the most enduring surf spots in the country. Maderas is located on the Pacific coast of Central America, just 2.5 hours from Managua Airport and 9 km north of San Juan del Sur – Nicaragua’s surfing capital and home to a number of great surf spots.
The surf camp in Nicaragua consists of a 2-storey main building on the top of a mountain, from where you have a breathtaking view of the jungle, Playa Maderas and the Pacific Ocean. At the resort, you can make yourself comfortable with a book in the lounge, watch a movie in the social area, or relax in one of the sun loungers by the pool and watch the waves roll into the bay from the edge of the infinity pool. In the camp, there are comfortable beds, delicious food and airy rooms with tropical showers, as well as a magnificent view of the sunset over the sea.

Surf
Our surf guides will take you to many great spots nearby and always find something suitable to advance your surfing level.
For those who would like to surf the famous surf spots in the north, our boat trip is just the thing. We leave at our house beach and drive to Playa Manzanillo, Panga Drops, Playa Colorado and Santana. On the way you can see whales, dolphins and fantastic beaches.
The area experiences 340 days of off-shore wind, which makes it possible to surf every single day of the year!

Prices
The room rate includes daily breakfast and dinner from Sunday to Thursday. On Friday is Pizza Night (EUR 8) and Saturday is BBQ Night (EUR 10). Free-flowing filtered spring water, tea and coffee for breakfast is included. Free yoga is also available on site, subject to availability.
Important: On Sunday is a day of rest, so there is no surf course or guided.
Surf course package
The offer is suitable for beginners and experienced surfers. With qualified surf guides you will be driven to the best spots and can efficiently improve your surfing skills. The surf course takes place in English or Spanish.
Included in the course price
- 7 nights in the chosen room (genders are separated into shared rooms as far as possible, double rooms cannot be shared with strangers)
- Half board: daily breakfast and dinner from Sunday to Thursday
- 6x per week daily 2x 2 hours surf course and spot transfers
- The surf equipment is also included
Surfguiding Package
The offer is perfect for advanced surfers who want to improve individually. With a spot guide you will go to the appropriate spots and get tips. You can take your own surf material with you or rent a board from the large selection in the camp. Spot transfer is included in the room rate.

Visa: Visitors from most countries get a 90-day tourist visa upon arrival in Nicaragua. Upon entry, it is possible that a return ticket must be presented. At the airport, a tourist tourist tax of USD 10 is to be paid. Check the exact requirements before you travel.

Internet: There is free WiFi for all participants in the camp
Currency and credit cards: The local currency is the Nicaraguan Cordoba, but US dollars are also accepted. The exchange rate changes from day to day – 1 euro is in about 32 Cordoba. There are a lot of ATMs around San Juan del Sur and in every major city in the region. Most vending machines can be used to withdraw both Cordoba and US dollars. In the surf camp you can only pay cash.
Motorbike: Price per day on request.
Traveling with Surfboards: It is allowed to introduce three surfboards for your own use. Other boards are seen as imports and upon entry a fee of USD 100 per additional board will be charged at customs.
Wetsuit: Nicaragua does not require a wetsuit, as the water temperature is pleasantly warm all year round.
