Overview
Nothing but Surfing – do you want to surf as much as possible and make progress quickly?
Come to the small village of San Felipe, famous for its inexpensive seafood restaurants. The surf camp is next to the sea. With sea noise and sea views from the roof terrace, you will find the real surfer life: relaxed and chilly.
The surf camp is located 20 minutes northwest of Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria. San Felipe offers bus connections to the north of the island, as well as to Las Palmas. Far from the tourist hustle and bustle, the coast in the north of Gran Canaria invites you to learn to surf and discover the area. A rental car is best suited for this purpose (attention: minimum age of 21 years).
The small former fishing village of San Felipe is at the north coast, full of waves and is surrounded by banana plantations. Far away from the noise of the city, it is best to relax during a walk to the nearby sea pool, or eat dinner in one of the 4 restaurants. For those who want to work on their beach body after the surf day: there are also two outdoor gyms, one is only a 5 minutes walk from the camp on the beach promenade.

Accommodation
You can choose between three types of accommodations:
Accommodation in the camp house
Experience the true flair of surfing and start your surfing day with sea noise… Atlantis Surf Hostel is located in San Felipe, next to Vagabundosund Surf Spot, less than 10 metres from the water. It is simple, but made with a lot of love. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided. You can relax in the lounge while watching surf videos on the TV, sunbathe on the roof terrace, or barbecue with your new friends in the courtyard. If you are not too tired after surfing, you can end the day in the sea pool (15 minutes by foot) or with a hike to the Moya Valley to the natural climbing wall.
Accommodation in the apartment
If you are looking for accommodation for you and your friends directly at one of the best spots in Gran Canaria, you are in the right place in the apartment. The “Derecha del Roque” can be easily checked from the room. Two bedrooms accommodate up to 6 people in total, making it perfect for a surf trip with your friends. Close to the camp are the surf spots Derecha del Roque, El Picacho and Boquines. The apartment is fully designed for surfers and offers not only a relaxed atmosphere but also nice details such as a surfboard shelf. The surf camp can be reached in 5 minutes by car.

Accommodation in Sea View Apartment
This two-storied apartment is located on the north coast of Gran Canaria, on the top floor of a three-storied residential complex. Expect a modern and elegant kitchen with living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and a roof terrace overlooking the sea and the waves of San Felipe.

Surf
The beach breaks Molokai, La Cicer or Vagabundos are perfect for starting the first attempts in surfing and also offer fun runs for advanced riders. You can also try the point breaks El Roque, Bouquinis and Quintanilla. If you are looking for a real challenge, you can also search after the perfect wave in these surf spots: El Confital, El Lloret and El Circo. You see, there are more than enough surf spots for every level in Gran Canaria.
Surf course for beginners and advanced
During 5 days, you’ll get 4 hours of surf lessons a day at an appropriate beach of Gran Canaria. We check your surf level and take you further. Let yourself be observed and guided on how to do it better – so you will quickly get a lot more joy in surfing.

Surf course Package with surf hostel accommodation
7 nights accommodation in the surf hostel, 5 days surf course (4h/day) incl. Material and spot transfer, snack on the beach, photos and videos.
Surf course Package with apartment accommodation
7 nights accommodation in the apartment, 5 days surf course (4h/day) incl. Material and spot transfer, snack on the beach, photos and videos. Price for the entire apartment on request.
Surf guiding package:
7 nights accommodation in the camp house or apartment, 5 days surf guiding (4h/day) incl. Material and spot transfer, snack on the beach, photos and videos. For the Sea View apartment the prices are on request.

Activities: Various excursions e.g. visit Jardin Botanico, hike to the top of Roque Nublo with its spectacular view or find the dunes of Maspalomas in the South, Europe’s largest dune landscape
Material rental: Included in the surf course, otherwise board rent per day EUR 11, fiberglass/epoxy EUR 15 per day, wetsuit/Lycra EUR 6 per day
Internet: There is NO internet in the surf camp as well as in the apartment.
Airport transfer: Airport transfer (round trip) can be booked for approx. EUR 46 on request between 8 am and 11 pm. Up to 4 people fit in the transport vehicle. The meeting point for the pick-up service is passed through. Arrival by bus costs EUR 5 or by taxi EUR 40.
ATM: The nearest ATM is located in San Andres (there is also the pharmacy) about 1.5 kilometers from San Felipe in the direction of Las Palmas.
Minimum age: Guests must be at least 18 years old.
