Overview
The Surfcamp is a “real” surf camp – a cozy villa where you feel immediately at home. The sandy beaches around the surf camp are among the most popular surf beaches in Europe – there you will find ideal conditions for surfing, moreover we are preferred here in the south of Portugal compared to the north by much warmer air and water temperatures. Many surfers therefore choose this region.
The surf camp is located on the southwest coast of Portugal. Here the Algarve shows its most beautiful side: impressive sandy beaches, breathtaking cliffs, sleepy villages, fragrant eucalyptus forests… After an intense day of surfing, you will hear the sea rushing on our terrace in the evening – a real dream for every surfer.

Accommodation
Surfcamp Villa
The spacious surf villa of The MissionToSurf Surfcamp has double and multi-bed rooms, a swimming pool, barbecue, shared kitchen, refrigerators, DVD player, playstation, stereo, games, books, magazines, indoor board for dry training, Table tennis, free internet (Wi-Fi – you can take your notebook with you).
On request, you can also book the package with an extensive breakfast buffet (All you can eat). Breakfast/price per week CHF 64 / EUR 56.
Hostel
Right next to our surf villa there is a second fine guesthouse with large garden.
The ideal place for couples and surfers who like to have a little quieter.
The house has four double rooms, with three double rooms sharing a bathroom, and a double room with private bathroom. On the terrace you can chill out after a day of surfing.
The swimming pool can be used in the surf villa next door.
The Guesthouse in the Algarve has a large cozy living room, a beautiful terrace, a large garden, the fully equipped shared kitchen and several bathrooms. Free Internet (Wi-Fi) is also available.
External apartments
On request we can also arrange separate apartments for you, these are especially suitable for families. For apartment options, a rental car is recommended. Prices for the guest house and external apartments on request.

Surf
During the surf course from Monday to Friday (approx. 20 hours – depending on the prevailing wave and weather conditions), our surf instructors will be your constant companion and will take you to your destination as quickly and efficiently as possible – regardless of whether it is the first ride in the White water or your first tuberide is, here you will almost always find good conditions for surfing!
In addition to practical lessons, there is of course also “important” theory, where you will learn everything about waves, currents, wind, tides, material, safety, driving rules, driving technique and much more. Outside the course time, the surf material is available for free. Nearby you will find restaurants, a disco, bars (also the legendary Piranha Bar) and a supermarket… If you still have enough strength in the evening, then you can also plunge into the nightlife in Lagos.

Prices
Season:
Low season: 30 March – 28 June and 28 September – 22 November
Low season: 30 June – 12 July and 31 August – 27 September
High season: 13 July – 30 August
1. Surf course package:
Package includes 7 nights, 5 days (Mon-Fri, approx. 4h per day) surf lessons in theory and practice, video training, surfboard + wetsuit, wax, free use of the material after lessons and on the course-free days, transport to the beach (on the days of tea), beach shuttle on Saturday, pick-up/return transport from/to Lagos, internet, use of the camp facilities (kitchen, living room, etc.). The 2-week surf course package includes 10 days of lessons (theory and practice – about 4 hours a day).
On request, you can also book the package with an extensive breakfast buffet (All you can eat)! Breakfast/price per week CHF 64 / EUR 56.
Arrival
Transfers: free from Lagos, from Faro each way for CHF 125 / EUR 110
Rental car: To ensure optimal mobility, we recommend a rental car.
