Trendy Cape Town catches you not only because of its unique location and lots of cool bars, but also due to its changing scenery that enables a whole bunch of moving sport activities. Cape Town is known as one of the top 3 locations in the world for kitesurfing. We chose elements guesthouse for you where you can learn how to kitesurf. This guesthouse is owned by a young Swiss couple and situated in Table View, just 20 minutes away from cape town’s city centre. The village is located at Dolphin Beach that attracts kitesurfers from all parts of the world and offers a fantastic view of table mountain. From September until March there are perfect wind conditions with the South Easter allowing at least 4-5 days out of 7 with excellent wind. Enjoy.

Accommodation
You stay at elements guesthouse in table view, located in relaxed and safe area flamingo vlei. Choose between apartments with bedroom, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom, a double room with en-suite bathroom or - especially for single travellers - accommodation in the dorm. The spacious apartments can host up to 4 people. Relax and meet cool people in the cosy garden that offers a pool, hammocks and a braai. A supermarket is found in vicinity and the beachfront is just a few minutes away by car.

Kitesurfing
Brad is level 2 IKO instructor with over 5000 hours of experience and teaches you kitesurfing quick and easy. The introduction takes place at Dolphin Beach, the top spot for kitesurfing. The following 2 days are taught in Langebaan that is situated on the coast just an hour drive away from Table View. The calm waters of this bay are perfect for beginners, in order to concentrate fully on the exercise and the kite.

On the first day you learn launching, landing, basic kite control and safety measures. The second day starts with a recap, followed by body dragging, water re-launch and water start. On the last day the lesson focuses on board work, emergency rescue and rules of the water.

The kitesurf camp consists of accommodation and breakfast for 7 nights and lessons during 2 1/2 days. Equipment, transfers and IKO-Certificate are included in the price.
