GREECE / RHODOS "summerbase at Fanes beach " The kite beach of the Kite Surf Center is directly situated in front of our Hotel "Delfini". Sufficient space and little bustle at the sandy kite beach offer the best conditions for practice for the kite beginners and the best training opportunities for the experts. The Meltemi, the Rhodos wind machine, blows a guaranteed 3 bft in the morning and 4 to 6 bft in the afternoon (side-shore to side-onshore). The stamping ground is about 50 m away and offers therefore safety in beach proximity for beginners and kite pros. The Air Time Summer Base is in Austrian hands and offers courses following the VDWS guidelines with licensed instructors, something that will lead to quick success within a few hours. The Cabrinha Pro Center is of course with new 2008 material for borrowing and testing on location. Following the motto ‘quality shouldn’t be too expensive’ in this small paradise; this beach segment of the island is regarded to be a sleeper! The Air Time Summer Base is bookable from 08.05. - 05.10.2008. Accommodation The hotel "Delfini" in Fanes is about 12 km away from the airport and impresses with its lush garden. The hotel is directly located at the kite beach and offers rooms with 2 beds with shower/WC, breakfast in the garden, a small, but fine standard of this location. New: Almost daily we cruise with our guests and disciples to a downwinder (3km) incl. bus shuttle and boat backup. Thus we can coach our disciples optimally and intermediates as well as pros got sufficient space for practicing to reach their goals! All basic packages for 2008 season, can be booked from May 8 – Oct. 5 Beginner Package: For beginners incl. accommodation at the Hotel Delfini for 7 nights incl. half-board, basic kite course (10 hours of training incl. gear and safety equipment), 1/2 extra day rental after the course for free practicing, airport transfers. Perfection Package: For kiters with successful basic course accommodation at the Hotel Delfini for 7 nights incl. half-board, kite perfection course (10 hours training incl. gear and safety equipment), airport transfers and one downwinder. Rental Package: For kiters with successful basic course and/or VDWS or IKO Licence. Accommodation at the Hotel Delfini for 7 nights incl. half-board, 10 hours gear incl. kite , board and safety equipment, area instruction, rescue, start assistance and airport transfers. Fly ´n´ Kite Package: For Kiters with own gear incl. accommodation at the Hotel Delfini for 7 nights w. half-board, base usage (area instruction, rescue, storage, compressor, sweet water) and airport transfers. Partner Package: For accompanying partners, friends and kids (non-kiters), incl. accommodation at the Hotel Delfini for 7 days incl. half-board and airport transfers.
