SRI LANKA "WAVEFACTORY SURFCAMP" A postcard-like scenery far away from the crowds with kilometres of palm trees and sandy beaches. A perfect and absolutely wave-constant beach break with best conditions for beginners and intermediates, no matter if shortboarder or longboarder. Long running waves, 27 ° C warm water and all this just 10 m away from your bungalow. For years we have searched for such a spot and found it here in the south of Sri Lanka in a small fishing village Weligama. Our surf camp is located in one of the island’s most beautiful areas and the direct beach location cannot be topped – a true paradise! Accomodation Accommodation and camp base is the small and comfortable resort, where Yamuna – the owner and good soul of the house – offers us very stylish bungalows with king-size double beds, own bath, terrace of balcony and sea view. Each room has a mosquito net and fan. In the lush and with lots of love tended garden you find the restaurant. There you can get spoiled with good food, play Karam, surf the Internet or to succumb to Arak inebriation. Super special is the chill out area directly on the beach., where you may – with line-up in view – tune in to surfing. Surfing In order for you to make the best progress possible and so that we are able to give everyone individual attention we are keeping the camp size small with a maximum of 10 participants. Coaching is done on boards specifically shaped for us from Buster Surfboards, at beginner level waves for about 4 hours per day, 6 days per week. Important basics about wave formation, tides, currents, meteorology and equipment are taught at noon in the shade of palm trees while sipping a chilled, fresh-squeezed fruit shake. One day per week you got a day off and can explore the island. Lessons are held in German or English. We offer advanced surfers we offer here some world class reef breaks that are just a few minutes away. You may choose between the following packages: TAKE OFF - PACKAGE: 7 nights in a double room with breakfast, 6 days surf lessons for 4 hours per day, including all equipment
GREEN WAVE - PACKAGE: 14 nights in a double room with breakfast, 12 days surf lessons for 4 hours per day, including all equipment

Adventurous characters can come by train and get to see in the process a part of west coast and a large part of the south coast (Price: approx.
