PANAMA sudden rush's "Pacific-dreams-Surfcamp"" Oh, how beautiful is Panama! Here with us you can convince yourselves that Panama is really what it promises. Besides the beautiful weather guarantee (except during the rain season of course) and the pleasing water temperatures always above 25 degrees you can also find the best and longest „A-frame wave“ of Central America! Appreciated by every surfer this reef break wave is perfectly surfable with every swell. Santa Catalina offers besides the famous “Punta” two other “A frame waves” that are easily accessible by boat or on foot. “Punta Brava” and “Punta Roca” are 100 % no crowds. The beach break “Playa Estero” is well suited for beginners. Pure sand makes the first steps on the surfboard much safer. Therefore, let’s go to Panama! Accommodation: Accommodation at Pacific Dreams Surf Camp We offer you two opportunities: In Santa Catalina, a sleepy fishing village with about 350 inhabitants. Over there, our small hotel “Blue Zone” offers space for a maximum of 9 people. The rooms are grouped around a patio, all got fan and mosquito net. In the shared kitchen you can either cook for yourselves or you just get spoiled with half-board (power breakfast and international dinner). The other choice would be in Lagartero. Our hotel “Hibiscus Garden or in Panama dialect ‘Jardin de Papos’ offers space for a maximum of 15 people und any imaginable comfort: large rooms with private bath, AC, fan, private terrace or balcony with sea view. You may decide between half-board and full board. The hotel is located about 15 minutes by car from Santa Catalina and is located directly on the beautiful and nearly endless sand beach of the Gulf of Montijo. Surfing: Approx. a 6 minutes walk from the camp and you find the famous Punta that you can view from our garden. To the Playa Estero it’s a 20 minutes walk; therefore we offer you a shuttle service twice a day. We like to organize boat trips to Punta Brava, Punta Roca and other waves for you. Upon request we offer you surf lessons (4 x 2 h per week) at the beach break. This includes warm-up training before surfing, surf theory (wave interpretation, currents, etc.) and board practice (take-off, turns, etc.) incl. board and video analysis.
