The new alternative that we have to offer is a beautiful exclusive 4**** hotel, it is approx. 2 km away from our base in Langre. It is a hotel that highlights style. It is in an excellent location approx. 300 m through a pine forest and then you get to the 7 km long beach of Somo / Loredo, where you can find good surf conditions, the path ends directly at the La Cuerva spot. At the hotel there is a bar and a loggia where you can relax thoroughly. In the garden there is a swimming pool, in case you don't want to swallow sweet water and just do some relaxing sunbathing. You may choose between single/double room, Junior Suite and Suite with Whirlpool. Our tip, the suite leaves no dreams unfulfilled. For that reason we have worked on the our Surf Course Deluxe to guarantee maximum comfort and to allow you besides surfing to do additional day planning in a flexible manner. The first golf course is 1 km away and the second 2 km. Beyond that Cantabrien has numerous excursion destinations that want to be discovered. Those who like suspense of different kind will find Santander's casino irresistible. This offer is for travellers who put emphasis on the accommodation and has chosen northern Spain as holiday destination and who of course want to experience the fascination of surfing.

Arrival
Arrival is up to you by car of plane. Airports are Bilbao and Santander. From/to Bilbao we offer on Sundays at 2 PM a transfer. Other transfers can arranged by phone with Boris. The costs for airport transfer are 35 € per tour, outside regular hours the price is € 50. The other possibility is Santander airport, it is about 20 km away from the camp and cabs charge about 24 €. Arrival by train or bus are not recommended due to bad price-performance ration and the long journey.
Very important: Bilbao is serviced by www.TUIfly.com with prices starting at 19.90 € and since October 2005 Santander is serviced at similar prices by Ryan Air www.ryanair.com, early booking is worthwhile with these conditions.

SURFING 3 courses are offered:

Beginner Course
The 20 h a week course is held by trained surf instructors and includes gear, theory units, video analysis as well as the beach transfer. Training is held at the Playa de Langre, a perfect beach for learning that you might frequently enjoy on your own! At least 3 - 4 hours of practice per day, structured into useful learning steps, completed by indispensable theory units that get you acquainted with the necessary information about waves, weather, tides, currents, right gear, behaviour in the water etc. On the sixth day you may take the gear and use our beach transfer and try a little bit on your own what you have learned. During the optional extension week of the course the material will be at your free disposal and the crew assists you with additional tips and tricks.

Advanced Course / Intermediate-Advanced
The 20 hour development and/or advanced course relates directly to the beginner course. Prerequisite is the take-off in an unbroken wave and navigation skills to approach it. Just like the beginner course it includes material, theory units, video analysis as well as beach transfer. A special coaching introduces advanced techniques like bottom turn, cutback and the right timing for manoevers - for advanced individuals a lot of coaching takes place in the water. For that reason there is intense video coaching. The gear is also available outside course hours.

Surfkurs Deluxe Extras
Those among you who want quicker results may use this exclusive offer. The surf course with approx. 20 h of personal training, by trained and experienced surf instructors with a maximum of 8 people per group. In addition to that there is 1 day of free surfing to implement the things you learned. Special: Flexible day planning (at the best time at the best surf spots. Allows you planning freedom for other activities like for example golf etc. We drive you with our wave shuttle to best spot in the vicinity and adapt condtions perfectly to your abilities. With this offer everyone is individually coached and this way the fun is conveyed to your small group in an optimal manner. You may use the material outside course hours. The course only takes place if there are at least 3 participants! As an alternative offer you will - should the case occur - be integrated into the regular beginner course.
