MOROCCO "Kahina Surfcamp" Endless summer feeling and winter waves in point brake paradise … If conditions are right nearly endless rides await you, where you seem to forget about time. The climate is even during the winter months agreeable and in the summer the nearby sea promises cooling. During the warmer season you mainly surf the beach and reef breaks. In September and October the first winter swells come in and you might find yourself at summer-like temperatures and calm on one of the well-known point break waves. You will encounter he biggest swells and frequent offshore winds from December to March. Besides surfing you might be impressed by the culture of the Maghreb, just a few hours by plane away from Europe. Not without reason a lot of pro-surfers spend with other surf travellers from around the globe regularly some time in this wave-rich kingdom. Accommodation you have a choice of two different ones: Accommodation “Riad”: It is located in very original Berber village – true in style and sophisticated with relaxing atmosphere. The double rooms come with own bath and are furnished with local style. Upon request a suite for extra comfort is available. The house’s centrepiece is the inner courtyard with garden and swimming pool. Here and in the salon with satellite TV you can chill from a day of surfing, enjoy your meals or in between relax with a cup of peppermint tea. Accommodation “Villa Kahina": Upon request you may book rooms at our private surf villa Kahina. If possible we offer you large rooms with sea view and own bath. From the roof terrace and the salon you see the surrounding surf spots. Surfing We offer you the following camps: Morocco Surf Course Package: Accommodated at the Riad you attend on 5 days per week the surf course at the local surf school. You will be coached by two certified surfers Badr and Christophe and also be shuttled between accommodation and the surf. They teach you the first take-offs or help you to improve your surf technique. All gear is included and you may choose between different boards. Morocco Guiding Package: Accompanied by our local Kahina surf guide you will explore on 5 days per week the numerous and perfect waves around the Agadir/Tamraght region. He will fetch you to the spots with best surf conditions and will assist you with tips and tricks. As a local he knows the spots with less people and will take you – if conditions – permit to the “local peak”. Soul Surfer Package: Advanced surfers find the ideal offer in the „Soul Surfer Package“ which includes 7 days accommodation, breakfast and 7 days of a reliable rental car. The rental car will be ready upon arrival at the airport or at the Kahina Villa in Tamraght and offers you the desired freedom and flexibility to spend as much time as possible in the water or to explore the wave-rich region on your own.
