Five minutes walk from the beach, it's in Portugal, Carrapateira , the perfect place for you to forget your daily troubles, meet friends, go for a session with them, or learn what surfing is all about in a special and relaxed way. The long surf season in Portugal translates into waves 'till the end of November. Welcome to Portugal, to Chill&Surf - the House. Travel/Route Like most places, it's an advantage to drive down to Portugal (lifts always possible). All the information about flight or rail connections is available at Sudden Rush. For some petrol money we'll pick you up at the airport or the train station (both in Faro). The camp is only 95 kms from there. Chill Area Because we're having the whole show in a house in Portugal, we swapped the legendary Chill-Tipi for a fine Chill Room, with a bar and huge Chill-Patio with a sea view. And we're taking the newest mags, vids and coolest music with us again. Surfing A whole lot of beach and reef breaks in the area make sure there are always waves for you to shred and have fun on the whole year round!!! If you're a beginner and want to make use of some sound advice by going to surf school then Johny and Andre¥ from the local surf club will look after you. Board/Lodging You'll be staying in 2 – 4 bed room in our new, three-level Chillhouse. The Chillcorner, complete with legendary soccertable is on the ground floor, as is the main kitchen. The first floor has some bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The second floor has some more bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen, bathroom and an unbelievable Chill-Patio, which makes the wave check pretty cool. You're welcome to use the kitchen to cook for yourself, or you can let yourself be spoilt by the Chillandsurf-Crew. Bring your sleeping bag!
